Rooney Mara has made it, she finally shot her mouth off and sounded like an idiot and created a sound bite to last her, her entire career. Good job!
You’ve probably read it already but the new Lisbeth Salander is in the new issue of Allure magazine and sounds off on everything. She’s a spicy one already and I feel she will deliver gold for years and years if this attitude keeps up. In short she talks about the time she was on Law & Order: SVU:
It was so awful. So stupid. Me and my boyfriend — although I [didn’t] look old enough to have a boyfriend — went and beat up these fat people, and at the end of the show you find out that I used to be obese and I hate fat people. It’s ridiculous. Who would ever do that? Who would beat someone up because they’re fat? People are obsessed with that show. I don’t get it
Try to force your eyes to the front of your head again, if you can. This is the equivalent of regular people complaining about part-time jobs. We all complain, FOR SURE, I am a professional complainer but we all need to remember that life is life and it’s not that hard. This ingrate is not only disrespecting TV actors who are harder working than film actors, generally speaking, but also is a social retard. “Who would beat up someone because they’re fat?” It happens. Are you inept of thinking things, any type of thing, can actually happen? It sounds like she was FORCED to be on Law & Order. SHUT UP. This quote is not her first though, she also complained about being in the remake for Nightmare on Elm Street and said that if this was all that was offered for women, she was going to give up.
That I get, for sure, you are in a crappy remake and your role is pretty one dimensional but a job is a job. The genius Michael K over at Dlisted attached the All My Life scene from The Color Purple to his post about this and it pretty much sums it up. But it sums up how many people complain so much about trivial things. And then when it’s heightened to an extreme like with Rooney it just becomes laughable.
